Import Premium at Installments

1) At Policies > Installments,
Give a new option “Import Premium”
It should take the user to a new page’.

2) In that page, we will select the following:
(1) Client, (2) Insurer, (3) Insurer Branch.
(4) Premium Transactions Date, (5) Amount Received From Client,
(5) Mode Of Payment
(6) Sub options of ‘Mode Of Payment’
(7) Attach Payment Instrument
(8) [Download Template], (9) [Upload Premium]

3) [Download Template] should give the template which we can fill and upload. It will have (1) Policy Number and (2) Amount.

4) Once the user [Uploads Premium], do the following validations:

a) The sum of the Amounts in excel should be equal to (5) Amount Received From Client. (a difference of +/-1 is allowed).
If this validation fails, give an error message “Amount Received From Client is not matching with the Amount Imported”
Then exit import.

b) All the Policy Numbers in the excel are available in the system.
If this validation fails, give an error message “Policy Numbers xxxxxxxxxxxx not found; in row xx”
Note that the system should show all such policies in one go. Then exit import.

c) All the Policy Numbers belongs to the same client, insurer & branch.
If this validation fails, give an error message “Policy Number xxxxxxxxxxxx belongs to a different client / insurer / branch; in row xx”
Note that the system should show all such policies in one go. Then exit import.

d) All the Policy Numbers in the excel have a corresponding Installment Entries at Installments section with Pending Premiums.
If this validation fails, give an error message “Policy Numbers xxxxxxxxxxxx do not have any pending installments; in row xx”
Note that the system should show all such policies in one go. Then exit import.

5) If all validations are successful, start the job that will import the premium transactions.
